WOMEN of WINGS
Thursday, January 16, 2020
4:00 PM
Phillips' Hangar
222 Cessna Blvd

How well do you know our Fly-In and its taxiways? See how you stack up against the other Women of Wings teams during this year's WOW scavenger hunt at 4 pm, Thursday, January 16th.

Show up EARLY to register at Keith Phillips' hangar. If you have your crew already set, that's great. If you don't - no worries, teams can be made on the spot (though you may want to be thinking of a team name).

Each crew will need a team name, a cell phone camera, and a golf cart. Keen eyes and clear wits will win the day! The first crew to report back with all the solved clues will win "fabulous" prizes.

Please keep in mind, safety is your #1 priority! To participate, you must be a WOW member in good standing and your 2019/2020 dues must be up-to-date. If you have not paid, you may bring your dues with you on day of event, but your name must already be on our roster. We will not be signing up new members just for the sake of participating in this event.

Team pictures and our annual group picture will be taken at the end of the event.

This year's scavenger hunt coordinators are last year's winning team - Lyn Buchart, Kathy Genden, Vashta Rayne and Ginger Jabour. We wish every team good luck and we look forward to seeing you on Thursda

Help for the Domestic Abuse Council
Women of Wings members, Bonnie Powell and Marcia Shad are collecting toiletry items for the Domestic Abuse Council.  Many women, sometimes with small children, come to the shelter with only the clothes on their back.

They are requesting items from your hotel stays, including:  shampoo, conditioner, lotions, powder, soap etc. are welcomed.

Please  drop off in the baskets located at our front entrances.

In Women of Wings spirit, we thank you in advance. Bonnie & Marcia

W.O.W. Mission Statement
W.O.W. encourages and supports women with an interest in aviation, at all levels, who look to further their knowledge and skills, and/or who are interested in building friendships and camaraderie in Spruce Creek. We are a mostly social group which supports members in their endeavors. Many WOW members contribute their time to plan events and all this is much appreciated by the entire WOW membership.

WOW continues today in memory of our friend and founder, Sarah Bean.
